Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing waste disposal efficiently
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
- Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guest tables swiftly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in all tasks
