Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Chargebacks.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting, month-end close, and financial statements.
Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing accounting team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Establish scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation to support organizational growth.
Prepare the organization for successful audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial operations effectively support the business.
Build a finance function that is audit-ready, process-driven, and positioned to scale with the organization's continued growth.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Leader.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Experience leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
CPA designation.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, or other inventory-intensive environments.
Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
Experience with SAP, Power BI, and process automation initiatives.
Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.
