SENIOR MANAGER OF HUMAN RESOURCES

The Senior Manager of Human Resources is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing effective HR practices, designs and builds strategic HR programs, and oversees comprehensive project planning initiatives. This role helps strengthen the foundational processes of the HR team to support organizational success. This role supports the Human Resources team by delivering high-quality service, operational excellence, and consistent results aligned with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONBILITIES:
Provide leadership and direction to HR by designing workflows, developing policies, and ensuring the foundational framework is compliant in all functional areas so that the HR function supports business needs and fosters a positive employee experience.
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are legally compliant, consistently applied, and effectively communicated in order to foster a transparent, fair, and legally sound workplace environment that builds trust and reduces liability.
Manage total compensation, job design, and benefit programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, employee needs, and compliance requirements in order to attract and retain top talent.
Oversee employee relations activities and creates, updates, and enforces HR policies and procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations to maintain positive employee relations and ensure a respectful, compliant workplace culture.
Partner with the HR team and business leaders to design and deliver performance management programs that strengthen management capabilities across the organization and boost overall organizational performance through targeted development.
Design, implement, and evaluate employee retention strategies to promote engagement and reduce turnover, resulting in an engaged workforce.
Oversee HR systems, identifying and implementing HR practices that support accurate maintenance and updates as needed to support accurate data management and reporting.
Identify HR analytics to be used to inform strategic workforce planning and support data-driven decision-making for the organization.
Manage the departmental budget to optimize HR resources and investments within budget constraints.
Manage total compensation, job design, and benefit programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, employee needs, and compliance requirements in order to attract and retain top talent.
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct management to the Human Resources Business Partners.
Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Manages assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems, and implementing change.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience
6+ years’ experience in Human Resources management in all functional areas including employee relations, performance management, retention, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and analytics.
5+ years’ experience in leadership or management role

Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Ability to build HR practices through identification and discovery

Working knowledge of HRIS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly effective facilitation and project management skill sets.
Strong project management skills for evaluating, designing, and executing initiatives.
Awareness of organizational development, change management, and strategic workforce planning.
Experience successfully collaborating professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to establish, nurture, and optimize key internal and external partnerships and influence organizational change.
SALARY:
Pay Range: $120,666-$144,840 annually
Eligible for a discretionary Senior Manager bonus based on performance

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Hybrid work from home and office required
The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.
