Position: Lead Preschool Teacher, Ages 3-5 years, toilet trained

Working Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm, M-F
We value quality over quantity and have smaller classroom ratios. Candidate must have no less than one year classroom management experience. We are a faith-based child development center in search of a patient, loving, dedicated, and experienced lead toddler teacher. We provide a positive, Christ-based work environment. Zero tolerance for negativity and drama in the workplace.
We are a team and must do everything we can to help each other succeed, because then the child will succeed! Professional growth and development is greatly supported and on-going training opportunities are provided. We want to help our teachers however we can in creating a stimulating classroom environment full of learning experiences for their students, and FUN for the teacher.
Candidates must be able to present with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, pass a drug test, background check, FBI fingerprint check, and be able to lift 50 pounds. A CDA, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required. More than anything, a positive and fun-loving attitude and a desire to continue learning and growing in this profession are appreciated and wanted! Pay scales is based on experience and educational credentials.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, supporting their unique learning styles and developmental needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observation and standardized testing methods.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
