POSITION SUMMARY
Interacts and responsible for ensuring complete 100% satisfaction and customer interaction throughout entire order process. This includes everything from receiving and creation of RFQs, upselling, creation of purchase orders through to shipping out product to the customer. Must be reliable, dedicated, committed and be fully accountable for assigned customer base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assist with day to day quoting. Quote all Beihai lifeboat products. Quote any lifeboat parts we carry on the shelf.
· Check status of parts on order and keep SAP updated
· Ability to work with vendors for fabrication
· Assist with entering parts for refurb projects and getting parts to the refurb department
· Quote all parts that are recommended from a field service job
· Able to read parts break downs
· Able to read engine schematics
· Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
· Overseeing special orders
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or GED is required, mechanical/engine background
Experience: At least 1 year in relevant position
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills: Understanding of lifeboats and davit systems, basic understanding of electrical schematics
