The focus of this position will be Intellectual Disabilities - Essential Elements, Functional Skills and Daily Living Skills.
Job Goal: To provide a multi level system of interventions and supports for students who have a wide range of learning, emotional, behavioral, physical and cognitive disabilities. Will teach in a collaborative effort of
various subjects, such as reading, writing, math and social skills instruction in an inclusive setting. Candidates with experience in reading intervention strategies and a proven ability to support students with diverse literacy needs are preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction special education certification, number 1810, 1811, 1801 or 1830 in the middle school setting.
