Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Support early intervention strategies for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
- Foster strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and educational goals.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education methodologies.
- Experience with preschool or daycare settings, including toddler care and early childhood education programs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or in early intervention programs.
- Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is preferred. Pay: $13.50 - $18.00 per hour
