Job Summary:
Assist the provider with all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to, time of service patient triage, results follow up, and patient communication.
Duties:
- Review, sign, and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Clinical Manager.
- Assist assigned provider by gathering clinical information and entering it into the EHR.
- Respond, resolve, and document all patient correspondence.
- Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail.
- Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow.
- Complete time of service patient triage, including, but not limited to, obtaining medical history, medications, and vitals.
- Complete any and all medication pre-authorizations.
- Monitor all orders entered by assigned provider to ensure each order is completed in a timely manner based on clinical protocols.
- Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the Company's management team.
Qualifications (Required):
- Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent
- Three (3)+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients
- Ability to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to be active and mobile for an eight (8)-hour period
