Employment Supports/Job Coach - Part-time

Summary
Be a part of Nova Center of the Ozarks Day Services team. Employment Support Staff work directly with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) seeking gainful employment in all aspects of the process; from identifying areas of interest to resume building and application assistance to interview skills and job coaching onsite with the individuals as they work.
Job Duties
- Assist individuals with identifying areas of employment.
- Provide guidance and assistance with applications, resumes, and interviews.
- Provide onsite job coaching including modeling, prompting, and redirecting.
- Document all activities in the correct billable service area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have reliable transportation, valid Class E driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance
- Ability to maintain good standing in attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift/move 50lbs.
- Ability to work both day and evening shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experiences in mental health care, IDD population, or medical field
- Experiences in employment supports
Benefits:
- Mileage reimbursement and paid training.
Schedule:
- Occasional weekend shifts
- This is a part time position, with potential to pick up additional hours based on availability
Education:
- High school or GED equivalent (Required)
