About Us:
We are a high-energy comedy club featuring nationally touring comedians and sold-out shows. Our service style is fast, efficient, and guest-focused, with most ordering happening before and during performances. We rely heavily on handheld POS systems to keep service smooth and timely.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced servers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires speed, accuracy, and strong multitasking skills. Servers use Toast handheld devices to take orders, process payments, and manage tables in real time while delivering excellent guest service in a packed showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders quickly and accurately using Toast handheld devices
- Process payments tableside and manage tabs efficiently
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner during high-volume service
- Maintain awareness of show timing to ensure minimal disruption to performances
- Provide friendly, attentive service while working at a fast pace
- Communicate clearly with bartenders, kitchen staff, and management
- Manage multiple tables and large sections effectively
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout shift
- Follow all OLCC alcohol service laws and check IDs when required
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience required (high-volume experience strongly preferred)
- Comfortable using handheld POS systems (Toast experience a plus)
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized under pressure
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred for alcohol service)
- Valid OLCC permit required (or ability to obtain before starting)
Schedule:
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Shifts align with show schedules
Compensation:
- Hourly wage + tips
- High earning potential due to volume
