Position Summary
The Team Leader is an hourly leadership position responsible for supporting daily operations, coaching team members, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving membership sales. Team Leaders lead by example, ensure a safe and efficient operation, and assist management in maintaining Velocity Auto Spa's high standards of cleanliness, service, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Promote and sell Unlimited Wash Club memberships
- Assist with loading vehicles safely into the wash tunnel
- Ensure the facility, tunnel, and vacuum areas remain clean and organized
- Monitor safety procedures and enforce company policies
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Train and mentor Customer Service Associates
- Support managers with daily operational tasks and performance goals
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
- Leadership experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout a shift
