Diesel Mechanic – Fleet Maintenance
We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our company fleet of vehicles and equipment.
The position will be responsible for routine maintenance and repairs, ranging from basic services to major mechanical repairs.
Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid changes, lubrication, and routine preventative maintenance.
- Perform state emissions and vehicle inspections as needed.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions and other major components.
- Perform engine repairs and replacements as needed.
- Maintain and repair company vehicles and equipment.
- Service a variety of vehicles and equipment, including Toyota Camrys, trucks, vans, and other company equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Identify potential mechanical problems before they become major repairs.
- Perform other maintenance and repair duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working on both gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive and diesel mechanical systems.
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.
- Experience with both light-duty vehicles and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Must have your own basic mechanic tools.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
The ideal candidate is a versatile mechanic who can handle everything from a routine oil change on a Toyota Camry to major repairs on a diesel equipment
Pay: From $27.50 per hour
