Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery or medical procedures. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the necessary support and monitoring during their recovery phase, promoting optimal healing and comfort. We are open Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
Duties
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during the recovery process.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively, including acute pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with critical care transport when necessary, ensuring patient safety during transfers.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, as directed by their physician.
- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a recovery room or similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of critical care transport practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
