Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care Support:
- Accurately measure and record vital signs, labs, and diagnostic tests ordered by providers.
- Perform phlebotomy (blood draws), basic point-of-care lab testing, and EKGs.
- Interview patients and thoroughly document basic medical histories.
- Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms and medical instruments.
- Assist providers directly during physical examinations and procedures.
Administrative & Front-Desk Collaboration:
- Check patients in/out, answer incoming phone calls, and assist team members as needed.
- Organize and schedule patient appointments, hospital admissions, and lab services.
- Update, organize, and maintain electronic medical records and insurance reports.
- Handle receivable/payable accounts and assist with basic financial record-keeping.
- Draft and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and clinical forms.
Qualifications & Preferences
- Clinical Expertise: Experience with phlebotomy/blood draws, running EKGs, and conducting basic laboratory tests.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish): Strongly preferred to effectively assist our diverse patient community.
- NCT / Non-Certified X-Ray Techs: Special consideration will be given to candidates with Non-Certified Technician (NCT) X-ray capabilities!
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR) / Patient Management Software.
- Organized & Multitasker: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
- Exceptional Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
