Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will leverage your extensive carpentry expertise to execute a wide range of building projects with precision and professionalism. Your hands-on experience in framing, trim, cabinetry, roofing, and restoration will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations. Duties
- Interpret and analyze construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinetry work with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood or metal components.
- Assist with remodeling efforts including drywall finishing, painting, and caulking to enhance building aesthetics.
- Fabricate custom components using woodworking or metalworking techniques; interpret schematics for precise fabrication and assembly.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and site safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities such as heavy lifting, material handling, mold remediation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring, and fixture installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; document progress through reports and communicate effectively with project managers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry , trim carpentry, roofing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools; committed to power tool safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability in water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation is a plus.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices; physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands.
