Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills, incorporating principles of Montessori and early intervention strategies.
- Plan and execute daily activities that support childhood development, including toddler care, preschool education, and special education needs.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Engage with children individually and in groups to support their cognitive, emotional, and physical growth while fostering a love of learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to promote collaborative child welfare efforts.
- Assess student progress using standardized testing methods and adapt lesson plans accordingly to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in teaching physical education, literacy education, and childhood development to enhance overall program quality.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool or private school environments.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with childcare regulations, child welfare standards, and best practices in toddler care is required.
