We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our established and growing company. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on site development and utility projects.
- Perform excavation, grading, loading, and material handling while maintaining production and quality standards.
- Work closely with the superintendent and crew to complete projects on schedule.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
- Experience operating:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Wheel Loaders
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn and grow.
Equipment Experience Required
Excavator
- Dig safely around existing underground utilities.
- Carry grade accurately.
- Pull and finish slopes.
- Experience with utility installation is a plus.
Dozer
- Perform both rough grading and fine grading.
- Grade slopes, building pads, roads, and parking lots.
- Maintain proper elevations and finished grades.
Wheel Loader
- Load trucks with dirt, rock, and other materials.
- Unload pallets, pipe, and other job site materials.
- Transport pipe and materials throughout the job site.
- Demonstrate proficiency using both buckets and forks.
