Certified Sterile Processing Technician Requirements and Duties:
- Competitive Pay: $32
- Must be a Certified Sterile Processing Tech
- At least 1 year of Sterile Processing Experience within a hospital setting.
- PM and Night Shifts available (3pm and 11pm)
- Case Picking and Decontamination Required
- Assemble all instrument procedure trays, packs, supply/case carts following the prescribed manner.
- Assist in assigning priority to emergency requisitions/requests and issue required supplies and equipment based on knowledge of procedures requested.
- Assist in maintaining standards of operation consistent with or to exceed regulatory requirements and recommendations.
- Demonstrates and promotes compliance to infection control, legal, and safety standards.
- Disassemble and clean procedure trays and instruments using appropriate products and automatic equipment following the prescribed procedures. Check instruments for correct operation and condition and replace instruments as required to complete a tray.
- Dispense and deliver products requested by verbal, written or telephone requisitions.
