Job Description: Office Assistant
The Office Assistant is responsible for supporting the operations and communications of Albuquerque Collegiate. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director and Director of Operations, the Office Assistant manages the front office on a daily basis, serves as the primary point of contact for families and visitors, coordinates school-wide communications, fulfills teacher supply requests to ensure classrooms have the materials needed for instruction, and provides occasional operational support during lunch, recess, and other school activities. This role helps ensure teachers and students have the resources they need to support high levels of student achievement.
Essential Responsibilities
· Create a welcoming front office environment for students and families
· Manage paperwork and tracking of all absences, tardies and early dismissals
· Monitor the front desk and main school phone line
· Manage the student file system and the student health care/medicine file system
· Assist the Director of Operations and Executive Director in maintaining school’s student information system
· Manage the school’s nutrition program and coordinate with the contracted food service provider
· Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Director of Operations

Job Qualifications
· Spanish proficiency (written and spoken) required
· High school diploma required; college diploma preferred

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
