Yvette’s Dance Academy is looking for a passionate and professional Tumbling Instructor to join our team! We are seeking someone who can confidently teach Beginning through Advanced tumbling and inspire our dancers to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct and coach students in tumbling techniques and routines, ensuring proper form and safety
- Develop lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate performances, showcases, and events
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student development and progress
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tumbling or dance instructor (required)
- Strong professional references that reflect teaching ability and reliability (required)
- Weeknight availability
- Ability to teach a wide range of tumbling skills (beginner through advanced)
- Experience working with dancers or children (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Energetic, dependable, and committed to student success
