IBG Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent precision manufacturing leader in Bremen, IN, is seeking an IBG Operator to join their team!
Location: Bremen, IN
Pay: $19/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
Operate, load, set up, and troubleshoot IBG and other inspection equipment.
Perform visual inspections of precision-manufactured pinions, axles, and roller products.
Perform final dimensional measurements using precision gauges and inspection equipment.
Verify finished parts meet customer and internal quality requirements.
Identify out-of-specification parts and complete non-conformance documentation.
Complete production tickets, quality reports, and other required paperwork accurately.
Enter production and quality data into computer systems.
Load parts into inspection tables and machines by hand or using a barrel dumper.
Move material and barrels between workstations safely and efficiently.
Package finished products for shipment.
Assign lot numbers and shipping labels and scan product to master labels.
Operate a forklift to move finished product to the designated storage area.
Operate multiple inspection machines while maintaining accuracy and production requirements.
Follow all safety, quality, production, and shipping procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You’ll Bring:
Previous experience operating production or inspection equipment is preferred.
Experience with precision gauge measurements is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-minded approach to work.
Ability to recognize defects and identify parts that do not meet specifications.
Basic computer skills and previous experience with data entry.
Ability to complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Previous forklift experience is preferred.
Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Ability to push/pull heavy material as required.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
