Courier Delivery Driver — Independent Contractor Position

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Independent Contractor Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills, a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to provide prompt and professional delivery service.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport specimens in a cooled, insulated transport bag to designated locations.
- Operate and maintain your personal vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned route coverage and completing deliveries as scheduled.
- Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload cargo.
- Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and instructions.
- Use the designated delivery app throughout your shift to document deliveries and provide proof of delivery.
- Maintain your vehicle in safe, clean, and reliable operating condition.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
- Communicate promptly regarding delays, route issues, or other delivery concerns.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Previous delivery driving experience or experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for delivery services.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation, and GPS systems.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS/navigation tools, and delivery applications.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet scheduled delivery times.
Compensation
Job Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: Based on performance.
Additional Information
This is an in-person contract delivery position requiring the use of your own vehicle. Drivers are expected to maintain reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, follow all applicable driving and safety regulations, and complete assigned deliveries accurately and on time.
