Personal Trainer – Core Results Personal Training (Raleigh & Cary, NC)
We’re not hiring just to fill a spot—we’re hiring because we have more clients than our current team can handle.
Core Results Personal Training has spent the past 14+ years building one of the most respected training businesses in the Raleigh/Cary area. We’ve done that by focusing on results, professionalism, and hiring trainers who treat this as a career—not a side hustle.
Right now, we’re looking for an experienced, career-oriented FEMALE personal trainer who’s ready to build a full schedule and grow with us.
A Note From the Owner:
I’ve been in this industry for over 20 years, and I want to be upfront about what most job posts won’t tell you.
Problem #1: “High pay” that’s hard to actually reach
A lot of gyms advertise big numbers, but they’re tied to unrealistic volume or sliding pay scales.
What we do differently:
We pay a flat 50% split from Day 1—no tiers, no games.
- Year 1: 50%
- Year 2: 55%
- Year 3+: 60%
That puts you among the highest-paid trainers in the area, without requiring burnout-level hours.
Problem #2: You’re expected to find your own clients
Cold outreach, floor pulls, free sessions—it’s not why most people got into coaching.
What we do differently:
We provide the clients.
Our marketing and reputation drive consistent demand—you focus on coaching.
Problem #3: Not enough clients to make a real living
Many gyms overhire and underdeliver, leaving trainers fighting for scraps.
What we do differently:
We only hire when there’s real demand.
Once you’re on board, filling your schedule becomes a top priority. Our trainers are busy—and that’s by design.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct initial consultations, goal setting, and movement assessments
- Design and deliver individualized training programs
- Coach proper form, technique, and progression
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and punctuality
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients and team
- Be available during high-demand hours (early mornings and/or evenings)
- Open to training some weekends if needed
What We’re Looking For
- at least 2+ years of one-on-one personal training experience (preferably in a studio setting)
- Certification from a nationally recognized organization (required)
- CPR/AED certified
- Degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred, not required)
- Strong coaching presence and ability to adapt in a busy environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude that contributes to our culture
- Willingness to obtain personal liability insurance
- Lives within 20 minutes of the studio
Compensation & Perks
- $39.25 – $70 + per hour (based on session rate and tenure)
- Bonus opportunities
- Flexible scheduling
- Ongoing professional development
- Strong, supportive team environment
Final Thought
If you’re a FEMALE trainer tired of chasing clients, being underpaid, or undervalued as a coach—this is a different kind of opportunity.
If you take your craft seriously and want to build a long-term career in personal training, I’d like to talk.
