Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees to build a high-performing retail team
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence
- Manage daily operations such as cash handling, POS system transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and shift scheduling
- Oversee inventory management including stock ordering, purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales potential
- Monitor store performance through sales analysis and operational metrics; implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Foster a positive shopping environment by ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times
Skills
- Strong management skills with experience supervising retail sales teams and managing store operations
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and pricing calculations
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development, and team leadership
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques including wireless sales or grocery store experience is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with outstanding interpersonal skills; phone etiquette and managerial communication are essential
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as sales management, pricing strategies, inventory control, and merchandising principles
- Proven track record in supervising shifts, managing cash flow accurately, and maintaining store product knowledge
