Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Duration: 13 Weeks
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide direct patient care for medically complex patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, manage treatments, and support rapid response situations in a hospital setting.
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
- Administer medications, blood products, and prescribed treatments
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IV access
- Perform IV insertion and maintenance of vascular access devices
- Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and nasal cannula
- Manage patients with COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, CVA, seizures, and infections
- Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
- Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Active New York State RN License
- Minimum 2 years of acute care MS/Tele experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
- Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and critical patient monitoring
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work in high-acuity hospital environments
