Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and organized Children's Ministry Director to lead our ministry for children from K through 5th grade. This individual will provide vision, leadership, and care for our children's ministry while equipping volunteers and partnering with parents to disciple the next generation.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee all Children's Ministry programs and Sunday environments. Recruit, train, schedule, and encourage volunteer leaders. Plan engaging, Bible-centered lessons and ministry experiences. Create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children and families. Communicate regularly with parents and ministry volunteers. Coordinate special events, including VBS, camps, holiday programs, and family events. Maintain child safety policies and ministry procedures. Collaborate with church staff to support the overall mission of the church.
What We're Looking For
- A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. A heart for discipling children and serving families. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to recruit, equip, and lead volunteers. Experience in children's ministry or a related field is preferred. Agreement with the church's statement of faith and mission.
