Car Hauler / Truck Driver – TR Express INC
Job Summary
TR Express INC is seeking a reliable and skilled Car Hauler (Truck Driver) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, and customers across various routes. This position requires strong driving skills, and great attention to detail when loading and securing vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck and trailer to transport cars safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure tie-downs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and trip records.
- Follow planned routes and adjust as needed based on schedule or route changes.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
Experience & Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience transporting cars (car hauler experience required).
- Knowledge of vehicle tie-down procedures and car hauling safety standards.
- Experience with 9 car hauler trailers (Cottrell or similar equipment) preferred.
- Strong navigation and time management skills.
