We are looking for a well rounded, enthusiastic individual to join our locally owned grooming shop in a dog bather position. Comprehensive knowledge of dog breeds and coat types is needed. Specific schedule to be determined based on the season and shop needs. We are open 7 days a week but do close for 4 major holidays (Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & New Years Day) Qualified applicants with relevant experience and availability will move to a brief meet-and-greet followed by a paid working interview.
- REQUIRED: One or more year(s) professional pet bathing experience or related grooming experience.
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to to provide thorough bathing, brushing, combing, nail filing/clipping, ear cleaning and posses knowledge to express anal glands, brush teeth and provide a quality experience for the pet.
- Ability to exercise special precautions for puppies, senior, and disabled pets
- Keeping stations and work area clean and sanitized.
- Immediate response in line with policies and procedures in the case of a pet emergency
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
