Responsibilities

- Conduct route driving to visit clients at their locations, ensuring timely delivery of products and services
- Utilize strong communication skills to understand customer needs, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations including upselling opportunities
- Apply knowledge of pricing strategies to offer competitive quotes that meet customer expectations while supporting company profitability
- Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during commercial driving activities, ensuring safety and compliance at all times
- Perform automobile transportation duties safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, route schedules, and customer interactions for efficient follow-up and reporting
Skills
- Proven experience in sales with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and loyalty
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and merchandising principles
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in route driving and transportation logistics
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Excellent math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers, team members, and management
- Organizational skills to manage multiple routes, schedules, and client accounts efficiently
- Experience in automobile transportation or related logistics roles is highly desirable
- Military background or experience can be an asset due to discipline, organizational skills, and familiarity with safety protocols

Pay: $56,835.45 - $68,446.99 per year
