As an Irrigation Field Crew Member, you will support our irrigation technicians with residential and commercial irrigation repairs, upgrades, and installations. This is an as-needed, hourly field position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, communicates well, and wants to build hands-on trade skills with the opportunity to grow into an Irrigation Technician role over time.
Irrigation Field Crew Member Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Support irrigation repairs, upgrades, and new system component installations
- Help with digging, trenching, exposing pipes and valves, and general jobsite preparation and cleanup
- Assist with installing controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, nozzles, and other irrigation components
- Carry, organize, load, and unload tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job
- Help identify visible leaks, damaged parts, and other irrigation system issues in the field
- Follow technician instructions to complete work safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship
- Communicate professionally with technicians, office staff, and customers when needed
- Operate safely on residential and commercial properties while representing the company professionally
- Document work performed, materials used, and job progress as requested

- Communicate clearly and fluently in English
- Enjoy working outdoors and being active in the field
- Have irrigation experience, or experience in construction, plumbing, paving, tree trimming, landscaping, or similar hands-on outdoor work
- Are dependable, punctual, and take pride in doing quality work
- Are comfortable learning from experienced technicians and following direction in the field
- Want to develop a valuable trade skill with long-term growth potential

Qualifications
- Prior experience in irrigation, construction, plumbing, landscaping, or similar outdoor field work preferred
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to lift, carry, and move tools and materials throughout the workday
- Ability to work outdoors in South Florida weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the office and job sites
- Valid driver’s license needed
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently when needed and as part of a team
