Responsibilities
Champion safety and quality initiatives by identifying hazards, ensuring equipment operates safely, and maintaining compliance with all production and product specifications
Oversee daily production operations, including staffing, shift transitions, equipment readiness, process control, and policy enforcement to maximize efficiency
Plan and execute equipment changeovers with minimal downtime and material waste, while coordinating closely with maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow
Lead equipment cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance support activities to ensure operational reliability and compliance with food manufacturing standards
Develop and support employees through training, performance oversight, and continuous communication, while ensuring coverage for staffing needs and maintaining production targets
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business or a related field is advantageous
3-5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong background in line production operations with hands-on manufacturing exposure
Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes
Familiarity with wrapping and packaging equipment is a plus; comfortable using computer-based systems and applications
Salary: $65K - $70K
