Job Summary:
Garrett Popcorn Shops is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Shift Leader to support daily shop operations and inspire team excellence. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing shop activity during your shift, ensuring our team delivers exceptional fans experiences while maintaining Garrett’s product and service standards.
As a Shift Leader, you may be required to work at different locations. Our ideal candidate is a team player and can deliver consistency in performance no matter what Shop location you are scheduled at.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate team members to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
- Open or close the shop according to company procedures and standards.
- Supervise daily operations including cashiering, cooking, packaging, stocking, and cleaning.
- Monitor product quality and freshness to ensure Garrett’s high standards are met.
- Train, coach, and support new and existing team members.
- Handle fan inquiries and resolve concerns in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational policies.
- Perform cash handling duties, including reconciling drawers and safe counts.
- Communicate effectively with shop leadership to report issues, successes, and team needs.
- Assist with inventory management and place orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and team-focused shop environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- ServSafe Manager Sanitation Certification required.
- 1+ year of experience in a retail or food service environment, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and provide hands-on support.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
