Real Estate Loan Servicing Specialist
The ideal candidate for this position must be able to manage multiple job duties throughout the month while providing excellent member service, maintaining a positive attitude, and being a team player. Strong organizational and time management skills, and accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
Duties include the following:

Educate and inform members of products and services the Credit Union offers.

Check e-mail at least once a day.

Review Intranet at least daily. Review Credit Union website at least weekly.

Adhere to regulatory requirements regarding Bank Secrecy Act to ensure proactive measures against all illegal activity.

Monitor and report any unusual activity to supervisor.

Complete annual training courses.

Open, Sort, and Process Mail Daily.
-
Process Real Estate Loan Payments and corrections.
-
Set up new loans in FICS and fund loans, including processing fees, payoffs, checks to third parties related to the funding, etc.

Record Security Instruments with appropriate county to record our lien and perfect our security interest in the collateral.

Create and maintain Escrow Accounts, including processing the Annual Escrow Analysis each month and Short Year Analyses as needed as well as paying Insurance from Escrow monthly and Taxes annually.

Pull Paid Out Loan Report and process Paid Off loans and prepare and record Release of Liens.

Prepare Rate Survey weekly.

Generate Loan Maintenance Report each Monday and distribute for review.

Manage Insurance Tracking. Reports are worked weekly.

Order force placed insurance through SWBC.

Miscellaneous Filing (Insurance Policies, Escrow Analysis, Loan Folders, incoming recorded documents, Title Policies, etc.)

Answer Servicing Calls and emails and assist members in person as needed.

Manage and Pay monthly Vendor Invoices.

Monitor Non-Escrowed Taxes and send letters as needed.

Assist other loan processor with their duties as job demands.

Perform other duties as assigned
