Position Summary
Juniper Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our growing healthcare team. We provide team-based, patient-centered care focused primarily on adult and geriatric populations.
The Patient Care Technician plays a key role in supporting providers and ensuring patients receive high-quality care. This position assists with clinical and administrative tasks, helps coordinate patient services, and provides direct support to patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities Clinical Duties
- Assist with patient intake, rooming, and preparation for appointments
- Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information
- Record accurate patient histories, symptoms, and concerns for provider review
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Perform EKGs, basic wound care, point-of-care testing, and other supportive clinical tasks as needed
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply inventory
- Support Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) workflows, including patient outreach, device support, and documentation
- Assist with medication reconciliation and documentation
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and provider instructions as directed
- Provide compassionate support to patients during visits and follow-up care
Administrative Duties
- Verify patient information and update medical records in Ethizo EMR
- Support care coordination, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up communications
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic policies
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with EMR systems
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred
- Certification as a Patient Care Technician, CNA, Medical Assistant, or equivalent experience preferred
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare or outpatient clinic settings
- Experience working with elderly or medically complex patients
- Phlebotomy, EKG, or clinical procedure experience
