Echocardiogram Technologist
Job Summary: Independently performs high quality complex diagnostic echo ultrasound imaging procedures for patients, under the supervision of qualified physicians for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Must be able to manage time in order to keep up with High patient volume. Utilize advanced knowledge to perform imaging procedures by producing, assessing, and evaluating ultrasound images and related data. Exercise independent judgment in the interpretation and analysis of exams, and provide a preliminary diagnosis of the technical findings to the physician. Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Must be able to perform and understand pathology/hemodynamics for:
Echocardiograms
Echocardiograms with Bubble Study
Education
High School/GED diploma and 2 years allied health background in an accredited program or
2 years of college.
Degree Preferred:
Associate of Science or Bachelors in Science or Allied Health
Experience:
2 years’ experience Cardiac Sonography
Willing to hire PT or PRN
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
