That Golf Place is a members only indoor golf simulator lounge in Westmont, IL, running three simulator bays. We're a small, member focused business building a modern, tech forward golf experience in the western Chicago suburbs.
The role
We're hiring one part-time associate to help us grow our membership base, run great tours, and build a referral engine. This person will be the first face many prospective members meet. Running facility tours, closing new memberships, and owning day-to-day marketing execution alongside the ownership team.
This is a hybrid role: primarily on-site in Westmont for tours and member interaction, with some remote work for social media, email campaigns, and lead follow-up. Most hours will fall on evenings and weekends when prospects and members are at the facility.
What you'll own
- Running paid social campaigns on Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
- Fast follow-up on inbound leads via our CRM, SMS, and email
- Booking and running facility tours
- Closing new memberships and following up with prospects
- Organic social content - reels, posts, member spotlights
- Email and SMS campaigns for member retention and referrals
- Weekly reporting on leads, tours, and conversions
You should have
- 1+ years running Meta ads for a local business (fitness, hospitality, entertainment, or membership-based businesses ideal)
- Comfort with HubSpot or a similar CRM, or the ability to learn quickly
- Confidence running facility tours and closing in-person sales
- Strong written communication - you'll be drafting SMS, emails, and social copy
- Local to the western Chicago suburbs (DuPage County or nearby)
- Reliable availability on evenings and weekends
- Interest in golf is a plus
Schedule
- ~20 hours per week (flexible, open to full time in the future)
- Primarily evenings and weekends, with some flexibility for daytime remote work
- W-2 employee, paid biweekly
Compensation
- Competitive hourly base plus commission on closed memberships and equipment sales
- Complimentary full access membership after 90 days
- Potential path to a full-time role
Pay: $23.79 - $28.65 per hour
