HIRING: We are hiring a very outgoing bartender! Our small cozy bar is looking for someone that is easy to talk to, personable, outgoing, and as at least 1-2 years of bartending experience. Must be available during the week, weekends and holidays! Fun, friendly atmosphere! Must live locally(no more than 15-20 miles away) and have reliable transportation. Must be certified or are willing to get TIPS certified. Training will begin as soon as the candidate is hired.
Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
- Scan IDs to make sure everyone is the legal age to drink.
- Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
- Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Keeping beer inventory
- Follow the trained operating procedures
- Fill water bottles for the neighboring zipline business daily
- Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
- Other duties as requested
