Professional Electric is a growing, family-owned electrical company that's been serving St. Louis and St. Charles County since 2017. We aren't a huge company where you're just another number. We're looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice with residential experience who's dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work. Our work is primarily residential remodels, full-home rewires, service upgrades, and multi-family projects. We also have occasional commercial jobs as well.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Complete residential rewires
- Service upgrades, panel replacements, meters, and masts
- Running branch circuits and pulling wire
- Installing conduit
- Rough-ins and finish work
- Installing lighting, switches, outlets, GFCIs, AFCIs, smoke detectors, and other devices
- Troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Reading plans and following the National Electrical Code
- Working alongside a Master Electrician
- Utilize our mobile work order app to view daily schedules, update job progress, check off completed tasks, upload photos, and communicate job notes throughout the day.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice (or equivalent residential experience)
- Basic understanding of residential electrical systems
- Experience pulling wire, rough-in work, and device installation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics and crawl spaces
- Own basic hand tools
SCHEDULE:
- This is a full time 40 hour/week position
- Start time is 7am & end time varies by job, but typically we end around 4pm.
- Lunches are unpaid, and we offer an hour lunch break. You can take less if needed.
- Employees report directly to the jobsite (no daily office stop required)
