Job Title: Cashier/Sales Associate
MUST BE at least 18 years old AND high school graduate or equivalent/GED.
Job Summary:
Seeking a Sales Associate to join our small team at a well-established antique mall. The ideal candidate will be dependable and have their own reliable transportation. Must have experience with cash handling and working with the public. Looking for someone with a passion for customer service and sales, with an interest in vintage and collectibles. THIS POSITION REQUIRES ONE WEEKEND DAY PER WEEK (usually Saturday). Hours are Weds-Sat 10:45-5:45, depending on customer flow.
Responsibilities:
- Be dependable and consistent; arrive on time every day.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct sales transactions accurately through the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales and stock areas
- Communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive work environment
Qualifications:
- MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER & HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
- Previous experience in retail sales or vintage sales is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage customers & vendors positively
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and counting back change
- Ability to work independently, using common sense and maintaining a pleasant and safe store.
