RIDE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL II

Job Summary: We are looking for a full-time Ride Maintenance Technician Level II who will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of amusement park rides and attractions by performing routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the quality and safety of Luna Park's attractions.

2. LOCATION: In Person at Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224
3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain and repair electro-mechanic machinery to ensure their safe and efficient operation, "Hands-On" Work.
· Perform visual, auditory and physical inspections of electromechanical machinery and maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed using the CMMS system or a similar system.
· Keep spare parts inventory and notify Maintenance Management of any materials necessary to ensure safety and continuous operation.
· Ensure amusement devices are clean and visually compliant within manufacturers’ specifications and Luna Park in Coney Island Maintenance Standards.
· Inspect amusement devices daily and notify Maintenance Management of any hazards and/or major deficiencies.
· Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve ride operational issues promptly, collaborating with other team members when necessary.
· Able to collaborate on maintenance and inspection procedures.
· Perform other duties as requested by Maintenance Management and assist in all other critical needs of the Company.
4. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Two plus (2+) year of work experience in the mechanical maintenance field, advanced troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
· High-School Diploma or GED. Completed trade school certification is a plus.
· Experience using tools and measuring equipment (Caliper, micrometer, etc.).
· The ability to read and comprehend pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical schematics and drawings is a plus.
· Experience or certification with industrial equipment, such as forklifts, telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, etc., is a plus.
· Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and be safety conscious.
· Driver’s license.
· Accuracy, integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude.
· Due to the nature of the amusement park business, candidates must have the flexibility to be available for work on weekdays, weekends, holidays (in season), early mornings, and late evenings.
5. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to stand, stoop, crouch, twist, push, and lift for brief or extended periods.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Must be able to lift and lower 25 pounds above shoulder level.
· Being able to work at heights over 100 feet is a plus.
· Being able to work outdoor.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
