Responsibilities:
- Install glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases
- Hang doors and windows, including the installation of door hardware
- Perform carpentry work related to glass installation
- Install and secure fixtures such as mirrors, shower doors, and glass tabletops
- Lift heavy glass panes and materials safely
- Follow schematics to ensure accurate installation
Skills:
- Proficiency in glass installation techniques (preferred)
- Experience in door hanging and window installation (preferred)
- Ability to handle heavy lifting associated with glass panels
Summary
As a Glazier/Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation and repair of glass in various structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Reporting to the project manager, your core skills in hand tools, glass installation, and power tools will be essential in executing your duties. You will also leverage your premium skills in construction estimating and relevant skills in blueprint reading and carpentry to contribute to project success. Your ability to perform heavy lifting and work effectively on construction sites will be crucial in delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
