Production Cook – Chef-Led Meal Production Kitchen
Location: Hialeah, FL
Compensation: $16-19/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time and Part-time positions available
We are building a chef-led food production operation creating restaurant-quality meals for a national meal delivery platform.
This is not a traditional restaurant line cook position. We produce fresh meals in a professional production environment with a focus on consistency, quality, organization, and teamwork.
We're looking for cooks who take pride in executing recipes accurately, working efficiently, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
What You'll Do
- Prepare ingredients according to production schedules
- Execute recipes and batch cooking procedures
- Portion and assemble meals to exact specifications
- Maintain quality, consistency, and food safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the Culinary Lead and production team
- Help maintain a clean, organized, professional kitchen
- Adapt to changing daily production volumes and priorities
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of kitchen, commissary, catering, meal prep, or production cooking experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and standardized procedures precisely
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Calm, professional attitude under changing production demands
- Team-oriented mindset
