AMMEGA is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve quality systems across our Buford manufacturing operations supporting both Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne product lines. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing quality management processes, driving operational excellence, ensuring ISO compliance, leading corrective and preventive action initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned with LEAN manufacturing principles.
The Quality Manager will partner closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing performance while supporting business growth objectives.

Manage and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Lead internal and external quality audits and coordinate responses to audit findings.

Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate quality standards.

Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Drive LEAN manufacturing initiatives focused on reducing defects, waste, and process variation.

Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), data analysis tools, and quality metrics to improve manufacturing performance.

Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Monitor key quality KPIs and provide regular reporting to site and business leadership.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and escalations.

Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and improve supplier performance.

Develop quality improvement plans with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide leadership, coaching, and development for quality personnel.

Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

Partner with operations teams to ensure quality objectives are integrated into daily manufacturing activities.

Support cross-functional training initiatives related to quality systems and quality tools.

Lead structured problem-solving activities utilizing methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality cost reduction.

Support new product introductions and process changes through validation and quality risk assessment activities.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years and preferred up to 10 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in plastics, rubber, textiles, industrial belting, or related manufacturing industries strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and certification requirements.

Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software.

Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and quality data analysis.

Experience using Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools.
