Our client, a leader in mission critical facilities management, is seeking a dedicated Operating Engineer 3 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 3, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Operations supporting the maintenance and operation of essential infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive work ethic, excellent communication, and a commitment to ensuring 100% uptime of critical systems, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and building infrastructure systems within a mission critical data center.
- Monitor equipment to ensure continuous 100% uptime, performing routine assessments and troubleshooting as needed.
- Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Oversee vendors and contractors during scheduled maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system operations, repairs, and inspections to support ongoing facility performance.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED, with technical training or degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or related fields, with a focus on commercial or industrial systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and email communication.
- Strong understanding of critical environment systems, including HVAC, power distribution, and emergency power systems.
