Houston Kiteboarding is one of the nation's leading retailers of kiteboarding, wing foiling, eFoils, and watersports equipment. We're a small, passionate team that takes pride in outstanding customer service, fast shipping, and doing things the right way.
We're looking for an organized, dependable Shipping & Fulfillment Manager who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and taking ownership of getting orders out accurately and on time.
Schedule
Training: Full-time training schedule will be provided to help you learn our systems and processes.
Regular Schedule (after training):
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Possible 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule for the right candidate
- No evening shifts
- Weekend work is rare and only occasionally required during peak seasons
Responsibilities
- Package and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Process and update online orders through our fulfillment systems
- Organize daily shipping workflow and prioritize outgoing orders
- Place drop-ship orders with manufacturers and vendors
- Process customer orders and perform order entry
- Monitor order status and update fulfillment information
- Answer customer phone calls and assist with order questions
- Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers
- Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized shipping and packing area
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure customers receive exceptional service
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization
Qualifications
- Shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or e-commerce experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus
