OverviewThe Landcare Crew Leader is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organization, specifically in areas of the Landcare division by providing a variety of landscaping services, managing their crew, and job tasks. Must be comfortable working independently and within a team environment. Leads and supports their Landcare Crew and overall company culture.

- Complete daily tasks safely, and with a high level of professionalism & quality
- Makes key decisions planning daily tasks and delegates to crew members accordingly
- Timely data entering, including Aspire timesheets/photos/etc
- Manages and leads crew members
- Provides daily communication with operations team
Additional Responsibilities
- Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to trucks, and trailer combinations, weed eaters, plant augers, lawn mowers, blowers, and various other power equipment
- Maintains assigned equipment and provides notice of needed repairs or replacement
- Interacts with clients routinely answering questions and assuring client satisfaction
- Communicates with Director of Landcare Sales about enhancement opportunities on job sites
- Helps with snow & ice management services during the winter month
Requirements
- A high school degree or GED is required
- Experience in the landscaping field
- A valid driver’s license
- Data-driven mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Complete daily tasks safely, and with a high level of professionalism & quality
- Plans and organizes the day's route, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available, and completes it in the most time-efficient manner
- Performs a wide variety of horticultural tasks to ensure an attractive landscape and an optimal level of plant health, including weed control, certain perennial cultural practices, pruning, pest treatments, and other routine lawn-care activities
- Installs landscape & planting projects
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site, trucks, equipment, and shop areas
- Ensures completing tasks at all properties is done well, organized, and completed on a priority basis and within the parameters established for the account
- Makes key decisions planning daily tasks and delegates to crew members accordingly
- Diagnoses problems and makes recommendations for their improvement
- Diagnoses pest issues, makes recommendations, and/or takes remedial action as directed by standard company policy or management
- Timely data entering, including Aspire timesheets/photos/etc
- Manages and leads crew members
- Manages a team of two or more employees, including handling personnel issues on-site and training employees on quality of work, proper protocols, and policies and procedures
- Provides daily communication with operations team
- Considers improvements to accounts and makes recommendations to management

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
