Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate is proficient in operating and setup on HAAS CNC Milling machines, as well as some programming knowledge. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. Must ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
Duties
- Operate HAAS CNC Milling machines and Mazak CNC Lathe (experience not required for the lathe) to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances and program toolpaths using CAM software
- Assemble components as per engineering specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to measure dimensions and verify conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions.
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Requirements
- Experience as a CNC Machinist with moderate skills in machining processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools effectively.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using CAM software to program toolpaths
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour
