· Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements
· Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
· Valid licensure or certification as a mental health counselor or therapist (e.g., LCPC, LCSW, LPC, LSW) required; additional certifications in addiction counseling or psychiatric rehabilitation preferred.
· Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis management strategies.
· Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to mental health care.
· Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
· Ability to handle crisis situations effectively with skills in crisis management and behavior management strategies.
