We are seeking a dependable and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool night-shift travel contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in progressive care, telemetry, and acute-care settings.
This role is ideal for a PCU RN, step-down RN, telemetry RN, med-surg RN, acute care RN, or travel nurse who is comfortable floating between units and adapting quickly to changing patient assignments.
Columbus, OH | 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Shifts
We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs), Travel Nurses, and Travel RNs for inpatient contract opportunities in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates may be considered for one or both specialties based on experience and certifications.
Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week | Travel ContractOpportunity 1: PCU Float Pool RN – Nights
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts; 36 hours/week
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- Internal Code: BI01 RTX
Provide progressive care, step-down, telemetry, and acute-care nursing in a float pool environment. Nurses may be required to float to another affiliated hospital approximately a 5–6 minute walk away. No commute is required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, progressive care, step-down, telemetry, med-surg, or acute-care experience
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to float and adapt to changing assignments
- Night-shift and weekend availability
- Candidates with only 1 year of experience require manager review and may not receive an automatic offer
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute leukemia and hematology/oncology medical unit at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This unit primarily cares for newly diagnosed adult and geriatric acute leukemia patients and provides complex inpatient care involving chemotherapy, blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolyte replacement, central lines, and telemetry monitoring.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced travel nurse, oncology RN, hematology RN, med-surg oncology RN, or acute care RN who is confident caring for medically complex patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
- Schedule: 36 hours/week; 12-hour rotating days and nights
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
- Chemotherapy Certification: Required
- Ratio: Goal 1:4; may be 1:5
Care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia and hematology/oncology patients in a high-acuity inpatient medical unit. The role includes frequent blood product administration, IV antibiotics, electrolyte replacement, central line care, PICC management, and telemetry monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience
- At least 1 inpatient hematology/oncology experience
- Hematology/oncology experience must be included in the resume and skills checklist
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Flexible availability for rotating days, nights, and weekends
