Cannabis Cartridge Filling Technician:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification, only a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties.
- Accurately measure and fill cartridges, syringes, or containers with cannabis oil, concentrates, or flower, often using automated or semi-automated machinery.
- Daily packaging of vape cartridges in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards.
- Package products in retail packaging, ensuring correct labeling with state-mandated information (batch IDs, weights, test results).
- Inspect filled products for defects, contaminants, or incorrect weights, ensuring compliance with company and state regulations.
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including filling and labeling machines and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of batch numbers, materials used, and final product counts.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
- Perform all tasks assigned by management in a safe and efficient manner.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment, technology, and software.

Working Environment:
- Uneven surfaces, standing or sitting for long periods, bending or stooping, or working on hard surfaces.
- Required to wear PPE.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods (8+ hour shifts).
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of the initial interview.
- Must pass a state-required background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, food packaging, or the cannabis industry is preferred.
- Must adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations, as well as the brand partner’s quality standards and SOPs.
- Must be able to accommodate a Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM schedule.
